Geocache Description:

A favourite for dog walkers, so there could be lots of muggles, take care. You can usually park on the road heading toward the zoo. You are looking for a 35mm camouflaged canister.

Plaque
The plaque reads:

This Pillbox (military Bunker) was constructed during the early years of WW2 in 1940 and was designated as a lookout post to defend the former Stanley Park Municipal Airport which had opened in 1931.

The airport was commandeered in 1939 by the RAF as a Technical Training School. Wellington Bombers were also assembled there.

The Hexagonal shape of the Pillbox is built with reinforced concrete and stone aggregate and was designed for use by the Home Guard.

This Pillbox and cache are hidden in a great "countryside" walk in Blackpool, sandwiched between Stanley Park Golf Course and Blackpool Zoo.

Tommy is looking the other way, so this should be easy.
