Ett julbord är en buffé – smörgåsbord – med julmat som serveras kring jul. Flera rätter, som julskinka, köttbullar, Janssons frestelse, sill och prinskorv brukar förekomma på ett julbord, med vanligt förekommande regionala variationer.

I dag associeras ett stort antal rätter till julbordet, både mer ålderdomliga samt lite modernare rätter. Vanligt är olika typer av inlagd sill, sillsallad, gravad lax, lutfisk, julskinka, olika korvar, sylta, rödbetssallad, Janssons frestelse, kolrots-, morots- och potatislådor, köttbullar, risgrynsgröt, revbensspjäll och potatis. Till julbordet dricks julmust, mumma, svagdricka, porter eller julöl. Snaps är vanligt förekommande.

Att äta julbord på restaurang är mycket populärt på Åland och julbord börjar serveras redan i november. Många åländska restauranger är världsberömda på stora delar av Åland för sitt julbord, bland andra Nautical, Smakbyn, Silverskär och framför allt Soltuna Restaurang uppe på Geta bergen som serverar julbord torsdag till söndag fram till jul.

Jouluateria on perinteisesti joulun aikaan syötävä runsas, monta ruokalajia sisältävä buffetyyppinen ateria. Alkupalojen aatelia ovat kala eri muodoissaan: maustettu silli, sinappisilakat, graavilohi sekä maksapatee, rosolli ja sienisalaatti. Pääruokana tarjotaan itseoikeutetusti kinkkua ja perinteiset Imelletty perunalaatikko, lanttulaatikko ja porkkanalaatikko täydentävät aterian.

Monet Ahvenanmaan ravintolat ovat maailmankuuluja joulupöydästään, kuten Restaurang Nautical, Smakbyn, Silverskärin ja erityisesti Soltuna Restaurang  a Getabergen huipulla.

Julbord is the name of the traditional assortment of foods served at Christmas in Åland as well as in Finland and Sweden. It contains many different dishes, most of them typical for the season. The main dish is usually a large Christmas ham, which is eaten with mustard or bread along with the other dishes.

The traditional dishes of julbord include: Christmas ham with mustard, "lutfisk" with white sauce, raw, salt-cured salmon often served with chopped red onion and sour cream, pickled herring in various forms, potato-, carrot- and liver casserole, rosolli (salad from boiled beetroots, carrots, potatoes, apples and pickled cucumber, mushroom salad and boiled potatoes.

Eating julbord at a restaurant with family or business associates is very popular in Åland and julbord is served from mid-November. Many Aland restaurants are world famous in many parts of the Åland Islands for their Christmas dinner, including Nautical, Smakbyn, Silverskär and especially Soltuna Restaurant atop Geta.bergen.
