Geocache Description:

Fascinating location of a wildlife water shed!  Can be the beginning of a trail going north to Extreme Travel #2 or the third and final cache of an extremely challenging trail coming from the north Extreme Travel #1.

This is a fairly remote spot that can be reached coming southeast from the Tom Wells Road or northeast from the Ehrenberg-Cibola Road.  Trails from the south are still 4x4 but not too difficult.  After this cache, the trail going on north does become more difficult on it's way to Extreme Travel #2 cache.  After that point, the trail then becomes extremely challenging and can only be done by atv's or utv's..no cars, trucks or even jeeps.  If one wishes to travel between Extreme #2 and Extreme #1 to the north then one should never attempt alone nor without excellent equipment and experience.  We were amazed at the challenge as we traveled south from Extreme #1 and so grateful to arrive at Extreme #3.
