The church was built in 1885-6 as Douglas Water Free Church on land gifted by Lord Home. The sanctuary was refurbished in 1939. The building originally had a small belfry, now demolished, and the bell now hangs on a frame beside the church. The church outdates most of the houses currently in the village of Rigside.
The cache is a magnetic nano so please bring a writing implement. Also, please be stealthy when finding and replacing the cache and hide it as found. Happy Caching.
