It´s a small and easy hike from the parking lot at the gate (see coordinates), with lots of space for kids to run around and play. There are 3 stages, including the final, and all of them are close by. Total time for the whole cache (kids walking speed): about 45min.
We had to change the location of stage 1 due to proximity of another cache we were not aware of. But we found a good spot...
Bring a pen and some paper – you will have some small riddles to solve (suitable for age 9-99).
The coordinates will be a bit inaccurate due to the tree cover. The hints should help!
The final cache is a regular Lock´n´Lock container, big enough for some small party favors, in case you will use it as a birthday adventure, too ;-). If you want to use this as for you’re a birthday surprise, please post a note that you put a present into the cache. When the present was recovered please also post a note. It would also be wise to clearly mark the present in the cache so that other “normal” cachers will not remove the present accidentally.
