This is the first Official Wild Bunch Event. Come on out to a park on the shore of the Rock River in Jefferson County and sport your wildest headgear or hat. This is all about letting your wild side out.
Where: The planned location to meet is the Parking coordinates for the Owl and Woodpecker series. It is a nice little park with a small lawn / park area and an artesian spring.
When: 11:00 am (Please note that the date is tentative on the weather / ice conditions.)
Perhaps a wild hat contest will happen. Who knows what will happen, isn’t that what being Wild is all about? There are two series of caches accessible from the Rock River; the best time to get both series is when the hard water is prevalent. If you plan to attempt these, please remember that safety, by all means, comes first. Please dress for cold winter conditions. Water-resistant / waterproof footwear is highly suggested.
