ABOUT THE LOCATION
Nimmanhaemin is Chiang Mai's trendy shopping district... er... road. Originally set aside as a purely residential neighborhood, this area was home to many professors, doctors and government officials. Apparently there's even some hidden 1970s-era architectural gems hiding here (though I haven't found them yet). Over the last 10 years or so, the kilometer-long road between Huay Kaew and Suthep has morphed into an area hosting various art studios, international coffee shops, over-priced boutiques, and developers determined to build the city's 'next biggest condo'.
So what better place for a Geocache?
Stop and sniff the exhaust fumes, grab a bite to eat, watch the locals and expats pass by, and find this simple geocache. But beware of the many muggles. And be sure to bring your own pen!
