Geocache Description:

                                  L' Eglise de Saint_Brice

 sSa construction debute en 1196 par ordre de Marie, comptesse de Champagne et fille de Louis VII le Jeune.

En 1356 elle fut detruite par ordre de Charles V pour éviter q' elle ne tombe aux mains des anglais.

En 1505 Jean Bonteurs publie a Provins  des indulgences de 40 jours pour les fidéles qui participe a sa reconstruction 

En 1678 l'église  fut partiellement détruite par la fordre et reconstruite probablement au XVIIIéme siécle mais conserve sa voute en ogive datant du XIVème siècle.
