Cupcakes have seriously evolved over the past few years. No longer only for kids' birthday parties and picnics, they are the featured item in many gourmet bakeries, some of which feature ONLY CUPCAKES. There are CUPCAKE recipe books, CUPCAKES are showing up on facebooks, Twitter and YouTube. There's even a CUPCAKE competition show on tv! In the baking section of kitchen-themed outlets and craft stores, there's a a plethora of paraphenalia for creating every variety of CUPCAKE you can imagine from stuffed to thriple decker.
Collecting theme-based swag for this cache was easy because, come to find out, cupcakes are a big thing in party themes right now. They're hot in fashion, too. You'll see cupcakes on t-shirts, children's outfits, notebooks, pencil pouches, and jewelry.
I have to say, I'm one who enjoys these fattening little lovelies. I can't get enough. It naturally followed, I HAD to make a cache for CUPCAKES.
The Universe demanded it.
