At about a mile or so, and assuming you’re still going in a southern direction, your tool of coordination will point off to your left. It’s not far from the trail but you may need to push through a bush.

Bring your tweezers to get the log out.

Manipulating the cache log: To remove the log: With your tweezers, pull the stick out far enough to get a hold of it with your thumb and finger then turn the stick clockwise while pulling the log out. To reinsert the log: Using your thumb and two fingers of your left hand to hold the log, turn the stick clockwise with the thumb and finger of your right hand. Wind it up tight and it will easily slip into its container.
