Geocache Description:

There is a lot to see here. You can experience living in a pioneer cabin, loading a wagon for the trek west, as well learn about Iron County's industrial history.You can explore southwestern Utah's historic trails and hear the original 1850s Cedar City town bell. Through the hard work of staff and volunteers there are a wide variety of hands-on activities through out the grounds for visitors of all ages.

Please be aware that this cache is only available to be found during open hours. The cache is placed outside in the fenced area and cannot be accessed at night or without entry to the Museum/State park.

Museum Hours and fees (as of last update from the website, fees and hours may change.)

September-May: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday - Saturday

June-August: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday - Sunday

Holiday Closures: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day

$4.00 Per Person (age 6 and under free)

discount for students. Free for Friends of Homestead Group members

$100 Annual State Park Pass is available at the museum.

$50 Senior Adventure (annual) Pass
