Like cache #1 in this series, this container seems to be a pretty essential item for some people's Thanksgiving kitchen. We used to use this item to help keep things wet, but now we just use a ladle, spoon, or whatever is lying around. Why? Because who needs one more thing to clean?!? Ah, the joys of cooking holiday meals.

I have never understood why anyone would,
Get up so early, to roast a big birdy,
Spend a whole day, to make a soufflé,
Take hours to shop, and even more to chop,
And in Sunday dress, we make a huge mess,
Make a holiday wish, then clean dish after dish,
We stress the whole day and then fall into bed,
When we could have relaxed and had a burger instead.
