Mt Buller has the gnome tree and Mt Hotham has this chalet. It's quite a cute installation and we really wonder how it could escape the views of the local cachers so long. Like the house in Mt Buller, little is know about its origin. The only thing we could find out is it's owned by a little fairy called Alexis Auroris who actually has rented it out as a winter lodge. Yep - also fairies sometimes go on skiing holidays.
The cache is a 12.7mm ammo can next to a gum-tree. We absolutely made sure this cache can be found in any season up to a snow-height of about 2.3m.

P.S.: Being located in a ski-resort this cache doesn't qualify for the winter bonus of The New Zealand Beekeeper's Challenge. At 1637m it is also too low for the The Victorian 1700m A.S.L. Challenge
