Geocache Description:

The connection between trees and music is, of course, multi-fold and endless. The maple in particular has traditionally been the wood of choice for making the backs and sides of the violin family of instruments. Favoured for its hard wood, and the bright tone it gives.

The cache is hidden behind a rock, by a young fir.

The Provincial Parks caches have to comply with the Parks guidelines, as to position, labelling and owner ID, and this cache is in compliance.
