Why do we say “When PIGS Fly”?
Why not Cows… or Chickens… or Porcupines? You never know what you’ll see on the trail!
Maybe a flying... _________!!! :) In the winter... look for eagles! You may spot the ones that come each year to this area to nest! If you walk from west to east on the boardwalk... from the cache east.... and count to the 20th fence post... and look up high to the south you should see a large nest. You may be able to see it from the 11th post, too. And if you are there during eagle nesting season you MAY seen an eagle! We just saw an eagle high on the tree with the nest 2-18-2016. You can see the nest from out on the boardwalk... but you can also see it from very near this cache! Walk to the trail from the cache. Just before you reach the trail...there is low place... stand in it... and look up south/east. You'll see the nest from there, too. That is where we spotted the eagle from today!. Please let us know if you see it!
Please close the cache container securely replace out of view of muggles!
