Follow Yellow painted blazes (Ives Trail markers are rare.)
At the “Trail” sign do not follow Yellow around to the left, but do follow the Ives Trail sign to the right and climb. Yellow blazes soon reappear.
The history of the chimney is unknown.
En route from Ives13 to Ives14 you pass a pre-existing cache "Mikro auf Kiefernberg" GC10PWP, 35mm film canister at N 41 20.901 W 73 29.373 Consider it Ives13.5. After the kiosk Ives blazes reappear.
LOOP 2: CACHES Ives 12, 13, 9, 11 About 2.5 miles in length
There are no parking or entrance fees. The park is open from 8 am to sunset. Pets are permitted on a maximum 7 ft leash.
