Woolland Hill
Woolland Hill has one of the largest remaining fragments of chalk heath in Dorset. This rare habitat enables acid-loving plants, such as heather, to grow in alkaline areas. As well as being a Local Nature Reserve, the area has been designated as a Site of Nature Conservation Interest due to its high wildlife value.
On a clear day, Woolland Hill offers magnificent views across seven counties and even on to the coast of Wales.
