This cache near the airpark where the Boeing 747 water bomber tanker is stored Evergreen N949EV 979. There is a guard shack but no guards BUT the airpark does have security so supposed to be no photography inside the gate. Also the DOD does practice stuff in the back so be wary of security inside the gate. Easy access off of W-E bound I10 exit 232 about 3 miles down, its on a two way street with no lighting at night and it gets very dark. Be careful of critters.
This cashe is meant to be easy for kids to find and get you out to see the aircraft. This is a ammo can. Its a park & grab with plenty of parking Shift change happens @ 2:30-3:00pm M-Sun so watch out for muggles. Leave an item only if you can. Can use as much of the log as you want we will check the log so would be nice to get a hello note or two. It is an easy find due to the fact that you don't look funny hanging around an airport but its easy also so that you enjoy the sights. If driving down Trico Rd you can also see the back storage area where the 747s are in storage. I used to work there as an A&P and really liked it.
