A very popular spot for walks and summer swims. The beginning of the walk to Stephens Bay, which is well worth it and has stunning views.
After four blue penguins were found dead here last year, the Department of Conservation began a campaign asking the public to help by keeping their dogs under control around this area. Small container with logbook, pencil and a few small toys (special thanks to Stretch0 and niteowlnz for giving away the container at a geocaching event). The area normally has a few muggles so choose your search time wisely. Please hide the container well in order to protect it. Thank you. Have fun :)
