Die Koordinaten bringen euch an einen recht abgelegenen Ort. Dort wurde schon am 23. Juni 2001 ein Tradi versteckt. Es hat aber bis zum 8. Juni 2013 gedauert bis hier der FTF geloggt wurde und wer Zeit und Lust hat, kann sich gern dorthin aufmachen um den STF zu holen. Ich denke jedoch dass es ratsam wäre, einige Erfahrung im Kanufahren zu haben und mit entlegenen Regionen sollte man auch kein Problem haben.

Dies führt euch auf die andere Seite der Welt, hier sollt ihr Ausschau nach einem Virtual halten. Auch der ist bereits seit 2001 aktiv und immer noch sind STF und FTF verfügbar. Die Bilder die der Erstfinder hinterlassen hat machen durchaus den Eindruck, als würde es sich hier um einen sehr netten Platz handeln. Also, auf dorthin!
Der Cache aus einem Buch GC zzbEb
Ihr dachtet wohl ich mach es euch so einfach, dass ihr immer nur die Koordinaten eingeben müsst? DAS wäre dann doch etwas langweilig. Der vielleicht bekannteste deutsche Cacher hat über diesen exotischen EC in seinem zweiten Buch geschrieben. In einer zentralasiatischen ehemaligen Sowjetrepublik findet man den Eingang zur Hölle. Hier brennt bereits seit den 70er Jahren Gas und gibt Besuchern einen Einblick in die Unterwelt. Ein Besuch dort muss ein wahrhaft schauriges Spektakel sein, allerdings ist die Anreise etwas beschwerlich. Dennoch haben sich seit 2010 immerhin schon 19 Cacher dorthin aufgemacht. Macht es ihnen doch nach!!

Eigentlich sollte dieser Cache gar nicht so exotisch sein. Er ist nahe einer US-amerikanischen Großstadt in einfachem Terrain. Und doch gibt es etwas besonderes dran: es ist momentan der Cache, der die meisten DNF's ohne einen Fund hat. Immerhin schon 150 Leute (Stand 29/11/14) haben dort ein DNF geloggt, auf das FTF wartet der Owner weiterhin vergeblich. Wer weiß, vielleicht wird es ja einer von euch?
4.810 m GC zGbb
Hier handelt es sich um einen Tradi mitten in Europa. Er hat eine Wertung von 5/5, was wohl nicht der einzige Grund ist, wieso es vom 20. Juli 2002 bis zum 23. August 2014 gedauert hat, bis hier jemand überglücklich einen FTF loggen konnte. Respekt an User DeepButi für die Ausdauer die er dabei an den Tag gelegt hat. Als erfahrene Cacher seid ihr sicher alle topfit und wer weiß, vielleicht gibt es bald ein STF zu feiern!

Wie, was, an den Koordinaten ist gar kein Cache? Richtig. Es führt euch mitten in ein Land das momentan eher aus medizinischen Gründen in den Nachrichten zu finden ist. Dort müsst ihr einen Tradi finden - momentan ist es der einzig aktive Cache in diesem Land.

Wieder zurück in etwas heimischere Gefilde. Hier geht es um den ältesten Cache Europas, der immer noch gefunden werden kann. Über 2000 Cacher haben sich schon auf den Weg dorthin gemacht und der Tradi bringt es immerhin auch schon auf stolze 787 Schleiferl. Dafür werde ich mit diesem Listing wohl noch ein Weilchen brauchen ;-).

Nun aber wieder raus in die einsame Weite der Welt. Am äußersten Rand Nordamerikas findet ihr diesen Tradi, der eine 5/5er Schwierigkeit aufweisen kann. Immerhin 2 wackere Cacher haben sich hierher seit 2009 bereits aufgemacht, ich nehme mal an dass sie dazu einen Helikopter benutzt haben.
Der "Sehnsuchtsort" GC Lzbbb
Am äußersten Ende Europas findet sich ein Hochplateau, das sich für viele Menschen zu einem "Sehnsuchtsort" entwickelt hat. Vor allem in den Sommermonaten werden ganze Busladungen an Touristen angekarrt um dort Champagner zu schlürfen. Ich war mehrmals an diesem Platz und kann die Faszination bis heute nicht wirklich verstehen. Wie auch immer, heutzutage gibt es dort natürlich auch für uns Cacher die Möglichkeit eine Dose zu finden. Es handelt sich dabei um ein TB-Hotel mit einer D3/T4,5 Wertung. Versteckt wurde die Dose am 6.August 2014 und seither gab es immerhin schon 21 Funde, obwohl ich ehrlich gesagt mit meiner Erinnerung an das Gelände da wohl nicht hingekraxelt wäre. Schließlich geht es da steil runter und das Meer ist verdammt kalt!

Der Abschluss dieser virtuellen Weltreise soll euch an den Platz führen, an dem unser Hobby begonnen hat. Mittlerweile gibt es zwar die Originaldose nicht mehr, aber man hat dort eine Plakette erinnert an dieses weltbewegende Ereignis am 3. Mai 2000, das uns alle bis heute bewegt. Kein Wunder dass sich dort schon mehr als 8000 Pilger eingefunden haben!

The coordinates show you a very remote place, where already on June 23rd 2001 a tradional cache was hidden. However it was only June 8, 2013 until the FTF has been logged. And whoever has time and nerves to travel there, STF is still vacant. However I believe it would be useful to have some experience in kayaking and also no problems with a lot of wilderness.

The cache from a book GC zzbEb
You thought I give you all coords? Well, wouldn't be that funny, would it? This one might be a bit tricky for non-german speaking guys. One of the most well-known german geocachers wrote about this cache in his second book. In a former soviet union state in inner asia there is the entrance to hell. Already since the 70s there is gas burning and gives you a real nightmare to watch. A visit must be very interesting but it is not so easy getting there. Nonetheless since 2010 it has seen already 19 cachers. Join them!

This one shouldn't be that exotic after all. It is near a big US city in easy terrain. And still it is special: it is the cache with the most DNF's with not a single find. A staggering 150 people posted a DNF, the owner is still waiting on the FTF. Who knows, maybe it's you??

This is a traditional in the middle of Europe with a rating of 5/5. But I don't think this is the only reason why it took from July 20, 2002 until August 23, 2014 to have a lucky FTF logger. Our regards to User DeepButi for the great job he did! But as experienced cachers all of you should be 100% fit and who knows, hopefully we have an STF soon?!

You say there is no cache at the coords? Yes, correct. It brings you in the centre of a country that is mostly in the media for medical reasons lately. Find a traditonal in this country (at the moment the only active) that hasn't been found as of today.

Back to good old Europe. Here you are looking for Europes oldest Cache that is still active. More than 2000 Cachers have already been there and also 787 favorite points have been granted. I think it is gonna be a while until I achieve the same with this cache ;-).

But now again out in the big unknown. On the brink of North America you find this traditional with a 5/5 rating. 2 brave cachers have made their way out there since 2009, I suppose they used a Heli.
"Dream place" GC Lzbbb
On the edge of Europe there is a high plateau that has developed into a "dream place" for a lot of people. Especially during summer a lot of busses bring tourists there to sip a very expensive champagne. I have been there a few times myself and never really got what is special about the place. However today there is - of course - also the opportunity for us cachers to get a find there. You are looking for a TB hotel with a 3/4.5 rating that was hidden on August 6, 2014. Since that day 21 people found the box. With my memory of the surrounding, I wouldn't have done the climb as the cliffs are very steep and the sea bloody cold!

As the last point of our journey I want to guide you where our hobby started. The original box has been lost but now a plates states the world-changing event from May 3, 2000, which changed our lives. No wonder that already about 8000 pilgrims made their way there!
