The cache is near the footbridge over the river Avon, where the Kype and Avon meet.
A pleasant walk of about 1 mile from either Strathaven or Sandford, which could be included with a trip to the spectacle E'e waterfall, where there is another cache.
The walk is all on public footpaths, some of which are unmade and can be muddy. Please be aware that some of these paths are within fields which may have animals or crops in them.
