Water Dog Lake Park has a fine network of trails, some of which are only a few years old. And there are also trails that have been abandoned. This cache lies at the end of what seems to have once been a dirt road. As of now, it's a bit of a bushwhack to get to. Not a nasty bushwhack though, and you'll likely find a nice mild route, well, on the way out anyway. The cache was placed a few hours after rains, by a group including a 7-year-old and an 8-year-old, so it's not that bad.
Enjoy! I like that there are places like this that are little islands of solitude amid the metropolis.
Congratulations to Psychoticjester for the first find!
POISON OAK WARNING: There is some, or maybe a lot. Approaching this cache may be quite nasty, mainly depending on the time of year. The best time to visit is probably late fall, the worst time probably summer.
