Geocache Description:

Break the code and get to the dead drop. As usual, the posted coordinates will not point you to GZ, but please pop by and take a moment to think of those marked here, who lived through tales such as these.

Captain, this is Commander Blythe calling from GCHQ. The boys here have had a communication come in from 7th Armoured, and it seems they have run into a spot of bother.

As you may know, they have been deployed to Tobruk to keep up fire against Rommel's retreating troops. What you will not know is that a splinter cell of 7th Arm were dispatched a week ago to oversee a recon operation in El Salloum and were involved in a covert operation to obtain enemy plans. This was to be their eponymous, and final, rotation.

From what we can tell, the mission was at least a partial success. We have had only one communication from the troops since they set out last week and it doesn't make for a great bedtime story. We don't know who is listening in, so this will be encrypted and sent to you via the Inspector's Code. We assume you will know the best way to reveal this. Let's keep the info under wraps, careless talk costs lives.

********************

Captain, we must ensure that these plans are back in allied hands before the enemy can steal them away from us. Also, as 7th Armoured were to return to their families after this botched assignment, it is hoped you can either help them return to loved ones, or give them shelter in your barracks. It is up to you do snatch victory from the jaws of defeat. I am trusting you to send your best people on this, or better still, oversee their retrieval yourself. I'm sure I don't have to remind you that this conversation must remain between these walls, Loose Lips Sink Ships, Captain. As ever, Mum's the word. Keep me informed with your progress. Major Blythe, Out.
