In the early 1900's, during winter, it was commonplace for Clydesdale folks to haul firewood from Brown's Mtn. using a horse and sleigh. To slow the loaded sleigh while decending the mountain road, chain was wrapped around the sleigh runners providing drag. The chains were then removed at the foot of the mountain road at the obvious parking spot. The cache is located between the brook and the road. Please replace the cache as found.
