Guinea-Bissau is located on the North Atlantic coast of West Africa, between the countries of Guinea and Senegal. With an area of about 13,946 square miles, the country is slightly less than three times the size of the state of Connecticut. Guinea-Bissau is divided into nine administrative regions.
