LETTERS FROM HOME OGEMAW COUNTY




Ogemaw County is a county located in the U.S. state of Michigan. As of the 2010 census, the population was 21,699. The county seat is West Branch


The county was originally created in 1840, but was absorbed into Iosco County in 1867. It was later recreated in 1873 and finally organized in 1875. The county's name is an Anglicization of the Anishinaabemowin word ogimaa, meaning "chief.


To find the geocache, you must follow these instructions: 4460
1. Read through the county description. Let A = the third digit in the year the county was created. Let B = 1/2 of the second digit in the year the county was recreated. Let C = the third digit in the population at the last census. Let D = the last digit in the year the county was originally created.
2. From the posted coordinates travel ABCD feet on a true north azimuth of 299 degrees.
3. You will find what you are seekingclinging to the barrier.
