Liberty Hall was built in 1927 and was originally The Princess Theatre.It was used during WW2 as The Liberty Corset factory,employing many local women.The hall was purchased in 1953 by St Arnaud sub branch RSL,funded generously by local and district residents,as a memorial clubrooms.It is a beautifully constructed double story building,with a cantilevered verandah featuring pressed metal ceiling.The upper story is still used as a clubroom and contains an array of significant war memorabilia on display.The lower level has a grand hall and is used by many local organisations.It is also used to pay tribute to those fallen in both World wars on Anzac and Rememberance day.Liberty Hall has been maintained and kept to it's orginal design and beauty.It is a Heritage listed building of signifcance.
