Geocache Description:

K2 is the second highest mountain in the world at 8,611 m (28,251 ft), after Mount Everest. It is located on the border of northern Pakistan and China. Also known as the Savage Mountain, one in every four people who have attempted the summit have died trying.

Placement of this geocache has been approved by Rob Rossmanith, Park Biologist. Please remember, all wheels off the paved road when parking. Do not block any gates or trailheads, and follow the posted speed limits.
