On a recent hike, MC and I came across a row of spider webs. In the center of the row was the largest, most symmetrical web we have ever seen with the most enormous arachnid sitting on it. Strangely, in addition to its large size, the spider was purple with red accents. It gave us a discomforting stare and then began walking in a strange pattern around the web. Each time it turned to move in a different direction, the arachnid looked back at us as if to make certain we were still watching. It was as if it were trying to convey a secret message.
We’re still not sure what it was trying to tell us, but here is a diagram of the web with the arachnid’s tracks. Perhaps you can make sense of it.
