This Park has all the usual amenities. Baseball, basketball, playground equipment, walking path but most importantly, IMHO, an 18 hole disk golf course. This cache is located in the middle of the ‘front nine’ near several holes (baskets) and tees and a short distance from the paved walking path. The first Play A Round cache that was near this one succumbed to a landscaper’s saw. The container was left on the stub of the original GZ. There wasn’t a good spot to move it to so it was archived. This container is the same as the original except for the attachment device.
Disk golf, AKA Frisbee golf is played much like regular golf in the way it is scored, the terms used, and other features. However, a disk golf disk and a Frisbee only share one trait, they are both round. Disk golf disks have a smaller diameter and come in any color imaginable including tie-dyed. They also come in many different profiles and plastic formulations from hard, slick, razor edged drivers to soft, sticky, blunt edged putters and almost every combination in between. So grab your disks, or Frisbee, and GPSr and come grab a cache and ‘Play A Round’. And BYOP!
