Terrey Hills is a suburb of northern Sydney. It is about 25 kilometres north of the Sydney CBD. It is part of the Northern Beaches region. You may call in here on your way to or from the several beaches or the Ku Ring Gai Chase National Park.
Terrey Hills owes its name to the two original land holders Samuel Hills and Obediah James Terrey. Obediah Terrey acquired 640 acres (2.6 km2) in 1881 and Samuel Hills owned 100 acres (0.40 km2) nearby.
This cache is located about a good serve from the Terrey Hills Tennis Club but not within the grounds of the club and about a well placed six from the wicket on the Terrey Hills playing field.
It is a small container with room for a log, pencil and some small swaps etc.
