Huge art object in the middle of the river

A stone wrapped in iron hung with a wire swung by wind and was named "a wind string（FŪGEN）" because I played the sound such as the flute.

大武川と石空川の合流点で鋭く天を突く高さ30ｍの巨大オブジェ。鉄の〝ゲージツ家〟クマさんこと篠原勝之さんが手がけ、１９９４年に除幕された。村を訪れた際、自然の美しさにほれ込み「何かをこの村に残したい」と考えたという。ワイヤでつるされた鉄に包まれた石が、風でゆらゆらと揺れ、フルートのような音を奏でることから「風弦」と名付けられた。
