While looking for other geocaches on the preserve, I came across this particular spot while walking back to my vehicle. I loved this area so much that I wanted to place a cache here. I met up with the preserve manager and spoke with him about geocache placement. This cache was placed with his permission.
This cache contains information about a nearby feature.
The 30cal ammo can is located just off the green / red trail, however you'll want to grab a trail map at the parking area to find your best way to the cache. Please note... It is against the rules to cut across any trails. Please stay on the trails.
Please keep your dog leashed. Even if your dog is well behaved, from a bird's point-of-view he is a threat, which research has shown can prevent birds from nesting in areas like this.
There's no need to climb down the ledge to get the cache, it's not down there.
