Sine Geocache Club CITO Event Cache In Trash Out® Event

This is a very simple CITO event.  Please bring a grocery bag or trash bag and gloves to wear if you wish.  The area we are cleaning is just to the east of the school.  Our principal has given permission for cachers to park in the parking lot.  The event begins at 4 pm.Please feel free to join us. I will not have anything fancy for you - just a sign in sheet. My kids would love to hear about some of your favorite geocaching adventures.

I am a teacher at Melvin E. Sine School.  My after school geocaching club has been finding caches in the neighborhood for a month now.  We have talked a lot about what CITO means and I require each student to bring back at least one piece of trash back to the school to throw away from each of our caching adventures.  I would like to introduce the students to their first event cache.  A CITO event is perfect.  There is an alley just next to the school that many of our students use to get back and forth from school.  It is full of trash that students have dropped in the alley.  We will spend 20 minutes doing a great job of cleaning up this alley.
