Geocache Description:

Recommended parking is at the east end of 8th Avenue, off of 256th Street.

The walk from 256th St. to 264th Street is a little over a km in length....a 45-60 minute return walk. It may be a stretch to reach the cache but should be accessible to most. Please replace with a little geo-cover as it may be visible to those on horseback.

This beautiful completed section of the South Langley Regional Trail is for use by pedestrians, cyclists and horse riders.  The trail will eventually link Campbell Valley Park with Aldergrove Regional Park, with all the volunteer work being done by the Aldergrove Chapter of the Back Country Horsemen of BC in partnership with the Township of Langley.   Complete with two solid horse-friendly boardwalk bridges, the trail winds through a gorgeous wooded area,  over low swampy land, and borders along peaceful farmland before ending at the busy Highway of 264th Street.  The final portion of the South Langley Regional Trail is in the designing stages,  and will complete the trail to Aldergrove Regional Park  between 264th & 272nd Street.

Congratulations to itsafamilything and Starkiller-09 on your shared and 1st FTF!
