I come to Slovakia twice or three time per year. And almost every time I stop in Bajč for relax. I hoped somebody will place cache near so that I can search for it. But since nobody has hidden it, time to do some cache hiding. 

So, if you have time, stop at the Red and search the cache.

Prichadzam na Slovensko dvakrat alebo trikrat cez rok. A skoro každy krat zastavim sa v Bajči pre oddych od cesty. Dufal som že niekto postavi kešku blizko aby som mohol hladat. Ale ked nikto tam nedal kešku, je čas aby sa urobilo schovanie kešky. 

Tak, ak mate čas, zastavte sa pri Červenej a pohladajte kešku.

 

 

Bajč  is a village and municipality in the Komárno District in the Nitra Region of south-west Slovakia.

 

Geography

The village lies at an altitude of 121 metres and covers an area of 36.476 km2 (14.08 sq mi). It has a population of about 1,240 people.

History

In the 9th century, the territory of Bajč became part of the Kingdom of Hungary. In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1312. After the Austro-Hungarian army disintegrated in November 1918, Czechoslovak troops occupied the area, later acknowledged internationally by the Treaty of Trianon. Between 1938 and 1945 Bajč once more became part of Miklós Horthy's Hungary through the First Vienna Award. From 1945 until the Velvet Divorce, it was part of Czechoslovakia. Since then it has been part of Slovakia.

Demographics

The village is about 58% Hungarian, 40% Slovak and 2% Romany.
