CGCC stands for Casa Grande Coolidge Challenge.

The canal has water in it occasionally so be watchful of your children and pets. The roads along these canals are not advised during wet weather.

This is the desert, so as usual bring plenty of water and beware of the thorns and poisonous animals. Most everything in the desert either sticks, pokes or bites. (Thorns of Cactus, Trees and bushes) (Bites of Rattlesnakes, Scorpions and spiders)

Most of all… Have Fun!

The challenge:  ANIMAL KINGDOM SURVEY CHALLENGE

There are numerous challenges that require you to find caches whose names include a reference to an animal.  This is an animal challenge with a twist – you have to find certain types of animals that will have you surveying the animal kingdom.

Challenge rules:

You must provide a list of 40 different animals ( rabbit and jackrabbit would count as two caches)

Your animals must include a minimum of :

      Five mammals

      Five birds

      Three reptiles

      Two amphibians

      Two fish

      Five arthropods

      Three invertebrates - not arthropods

The other 13 animals can be any animal that is not a repeat of an animal inthe above list

(You may need to review your high school biology to complete this challenge.)
