La cache se trouve sur cette ancienne habitation sucrière qu'est née Joséphine Rose Tascher première épouse (1796) de Napoléon Bonaparte et future impératrice. Au milieu d'un très beau parc se trouvent les ruines des bâtiments fonctionnels de l'habitation, ainsi qu'un petit musée consacré au souvenir de Joséphine.
NOTA :
Vu que la cache se trouve à l'entrée du site, vous avez le choix de visiter le Musée ou se contenter seulement de faire la cache. Il est ouvert du mardi au vendredi de 9h00 à 16h30. Le week-end de 9h30 à 14h30. Fermeture à 14h30 pendant les jours fériés.
DIRECTION :
Entre les Trois-Îlet et Rivière-Salée, au rond-point près du Golf. Si vous venez de Rivière Salée, tournez à gauche pour suivre la petite route qui mène à la Pagerie.
LE SITE :
Cette vaste habitation de plus de 500 hectares, anciennement connue sous le nom de "Petite Guinée", exploitera jusqu'à trois cent esclaves pour la production de cacao, de coton et de canne à sucre, avant de péricliter au début du XIXème siècle. Sévèrement endommagé par le cyclone de 1766 qui ravage entre autre la maison principale, puis démembré par ses propriétaires successifs à la mort de Joséphine, le domaine de la Pagerie est racheté en 1944 par Robert-Rose Rosette, futur maire des Trois-Îlets. Passionné d'histoire, celui-ci décide d'établir dans le seul bâtiment encore intact, les cuisines, un petit musée dédié à la mémoire de l'impératrice. Sont rassemblés là, des documents d'époque, des tableaux et quelques meubles du temps de Joséphine, dont son lit d'enfant à colonnes.
Hormis ce petit musée et les ruines de quelques bâtiments de production, dont la sucrerie et le moulin à canne, il ne reste plus grand chose de l'habitation. Mais la visite vaut néanmoins le détour.
LA CACHE :
Une fois que vous avez trouvé une place pour votre voiture, le site est très facile d'accès. La cache de micro magnétique contient originellement le log mais pas de crayon. Apportez donc votre crayon (BYOP) et soyez extrêmement discret, l’endroit est très fréquenté. SVP replacez la cache exactement à l’endroit où vous l’avez trouvé.

THE CACHE :
When you found one place for your car, the site is very easily accessible. The cache magnétic Micro Size contains originally the log but no pencil. Thus bring your pencil ( BYOP) and be extremely discreet, the place is very busy. PLEASE replace the hiding place exactly in the place where you have found It.
