Geocache Description:

This is the first cache in our mini series called Bits and Bobs. This is Bits and Bobs #1 and is placed in the playground next to Boss James Reserve. It is a traditional but you will have to travel less than 1 metre to get the key for the cache.

Background

This cache is #1 in our series called Bits and Bobs, we hope you enjoy the series as much as we did hiding it. This cache is placed in the playground next to Boss James Reserve, although small, there are cricket nets and an oval nearby. This park was where I played cricket so brings back memories and it is a great place to have a kick or play at the small playground. The cache will require you to find a key for the logbook but it's closer than you think.

The Cache

The cache is an ammo can, spray painted with camo, and hidden with natural camo also. But once you find it, you will need to get the logbook. But wait?! 'Its locked?', you might ask. Well, you'll have to find the key! (Please do not force open the lock as very fragile and will break the lock and make the cache worsen.) The key is near the cache (<1 metre). It is attached to the tree by a hinge. Please put the cache and key back exactly where you found it so other cachers have the same satisfaction as you did finding it, and please don't give away the cache whereabouts in any logs or photos. Also there is no need to destroy any vegetation to get to the cache, it should be in reach from the grass. Enjoy the series and the cache!!
