Naturns

Naturns, vom keltischen „Siedlung am Sumpf“ ist eine Marktgemeinde mit fast 6000 Einwohnern, ca. 14 km von der Kurstadt Meran entfernt. Geographisch gehört sie noch zur Region Vinschgau, verwaltungsmäßig hingegen zum Burggrafenamt.
Die Gemeinde hat sich in den letzten Jahren immer mehr zu einem der beliebtesten Urlaubsziele in Südtirol entwickelt. Grund dafür sind die vielen Wandermöglichkeiten auf den beiden  Bergseiten, die zahlreichen Fahrradmöglichkeiten inklusive interessanter Mountenbiketouren, das milde Klima mit über 300 Tagen Sonnenschein im Jahr, das breitgefächerte Unterhaltungsangebot sowie die vielen Kunstschätze.
Zu den wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten der Gemeinde gehören wohl die St.-Prokulus-Kirche mit frühmittelalterichen Fresken aus dem 8. Jahrhundert, dem Schloss Juval sowie der Naturpark Texelgruppe.
Bekannt ist die Gemeinde auch für die zahlreichen Veranstaltungsangeboten wie den Ötzi-Alpin-Marathon, die Nacht der Lichter, der Humorsommer Naturns Lacht!, die Rieslingtage uvm. Auch im Winter ist Naturns ein sehr beliebter Ort, da das Skigebiet Schnalstal in weniger als einer halben Stunde erreichbar ist.
Ausgesprochen wichtig ist für die Gemeinde vor allem die erreichbarkeit. So ist der Anschluss an das öffentliche Verkehrsnetz eines der besten der Zone und auch die Aufstiegsmöglichkeiten durch verschiedene Seilbahnen in unmittelbarer Umgebung bieten sowohl Einheimischen als auch Touristen sehr viele Möglichkeiten.Naturns zählt neben Schlanders zu den wohl wichtigsten Gemeinden des Vinschgaus.

Naturno, dalla lingua celtica "insediamento al palude" è una città-mercato con quasi 6000 abitanti, a circa 14 km dalla città termale di Merano. Geograficamente appartiene ancora alla Val Venosta, amministrativamente contrariamente al Burgraviato.
La comunità si è sempre di più una delle più popolari destinazioni turistiche in Alto Adige. Ciò è dovuto ai numerosi sentieri su entrambi i lati della montagna, il numero di opzioni di ciclo tra cui interessanti escursioni con il mountain bike, il clima con oltre 300 giorni di sole all'anno, la vasta gamma di servizi di intrattenimento e tanti tesori d'arte.
Le attrazioni principali della comunità, sono la chiesa di San Procolo con affreschi medievali risalenti al 8 ° secolo, il Castel Juval e il Parco Naturale Gruppo di Tessa.
La comunità è noto  le numerose offerte di eventi percome la Ötzi Alpin Marathon, la notte le luci, l'estate umorismo Naturno ride! e le giornate del Riesling. Anche in inverno Naturno è un luogo molto popolare perché la lazona di sci Val Senales è raggiungibile in meno di mezz'ora.

Naturns, from the Celtic "settlement at the swamp" is a market town with almost 6000 inhabitants, about 14 km from the spa town of Merano. Geographically it still belongs to the region Vinschgau, administratively contrast to Burggrafenamt.
The community has increasingly developed into one of the most popular tourist destinations in South Tyrol in the last years. This is due to the many hiking trails on both sides of the mountain, the number of cycle options including interesting mountain bike tours, mild climate with over 300 days of sunshine a year, the wide range of entertainment facilities and the many art treasures.
