Geocache Description:

Ecuador is a small country on the western coast of South America. Its name comes from its location on the equator. It is bordered by Colombia to the northeast, and by Peru to the east and southeast. To the west lies the Pacific Ocean. The Galápagos Islands form one of the twenty-two provinces of Ecuador. With a total land area of about 109,483 square miles, the country is slightly smaller than the state of Nevada.

Placement of this geocache has been approved by Rob Rossmanith, Park Biologist. Please remember, all wheels off the paved road when parking. Do not block any gates or trailheads, and follow the posted speed limits.
