Back when I placed "360° View" (http://coord.info/GC52FRH) I was actually aiming for a peak on my DeLorme map called "Monte Largo". After placing that cache, I anxiously went home and started the publishing process for my new placement. Much to my dismay, I found that the DeLorme maps were incorrect, and that "Monte Largo" peak was actually another 1.25 miles further up the "trail". While today I was blessed with finding 4 caches I had not previously found, my real goal was to correct my previous mapping error...Monte Largo peak is now an official point on our Geocaching map!
What can I say about this cache...if you've already been to "360° View" then all you have to do is follow the various trails (both animal and man made) along mostly ridge-lines bearing roughly Northeast to the high peak in the distance...1.25 miles in the distance. This hike is not for everyone, unlike 360° View, the trails are faint, there is one pretty steep section, and you may have to do some contouring around the various hills to preserve your lungs. I've attached an image of my track in case anyone is looking for one possible route...I'm sure others will have their own thoughts on which path to take.
Because I did not leave an FTF prize in the container, whomever locates this cache first will get a free lunch, on me, at Golden Pride on Central and Eubank...I would also be willing to make it a breakfast at Denny's if that's your sort of ilk.
Good luck on your hike, and please bring plenty of water as this could take more time than you expect.
