The Kinzua Cachers will again be hosting the Winterfest Geomeet at Yurt Number 1 in the Chapman State Park campground. The game will begin at 10:30 AM and you will have about 4 hours to wander around the park finding the Winterfest game caches.
There will be lots of fun things going on at the park and lots of good food available to help us all brave the elements. There will be the usual travel bug exchange and lots of good companionship around the campfire outside the yurt.
This is The Ninth Annual Winterfest Geomeet.
Please note: This event will happen SNOW or NOT!
The coordinates above are for the YURT in the campground where the registration for the geomeet and game take place. Load additional waypoints for suggested parking for the geomeet.
NOTE: Due To Possible Conflict With The Sled Dogs
Please Do Not Bring Geodogs to This Event.
The schedule of events is:
9:00-10:00 Intro to Geocaching for new cachers at Yurt Number 2 in the campground. (Yurt Number 2 is the one closest to the lake)
10:00 AM -3:00 PM Socialize and stop by the geocaching table in YURT Number 1.
We will start giving coordinates for the event game at 10:30 AM
10:30 - 2:30 Time for event cache finds
