Dugave the city district of Zagreb is located south of the river Sava and represent the southernmost New Zagreb urban settlement. In the district there are a lot of green areas what Dugave made one of the more pleasant life settlements. It is suitable for children because it has a lot of parks and places to play. Dugave have their own church, school, football club, nursery, library. Dried branch of the river Sava, Savišće, passing through the neighbourhood from north to south (where the children like sledding during winter).

Nakon izgradnje stambenog naselja na njegovom jugoistočnom dijelu izgradilo se naselje u potpunosti sastavljeno od kuća u nizu koje je u to vrijeme bilo jedno od popularnijih stambenih naselja u Zagrebu. U njegovom središtu se po uzoru na kompletno naselje izgradio mali centar s nekoliko ugostiteljskih i uslužnih lokala koji se, makar izgledom nema veze s time, po uzori na dugavljanski, naziva malim oktogonom.

After the construction of citty district Dugave on its southeastern part it is built settlement entirely composed of terraced house which at that time was one of the most popular residential areas in Zagreb. At its center is modeled as in center off settlement is built a small center with several restaurants and service establishments, which, at least in appearance has nothing to do with it, following the example of Dugave, called small octagon.
