Going to Grandma's Traditional Cache

This cache is in memory of my maternal grandparents who lived in this street and I used to visit often in the 50s and 60s ....                                       Parking at this end of this cul de sac will be a little tricky ...You may need to park about 4 houses before the end .

In April 2013 , there was a  sudden, unexpected major earth slip at the end of this no exit street !  It took months to reconfigure and make safe the cliff at the end, which had lots of Pohutukawa trees on it, and make it safe . The last house had no access for a while !

It all looks quite different now ,,, especially the new fancy stairs ! 

I thought they deserved a cache !
