Ives17 - The Unanswered Question Traditional Cache

Adventure Time. Stay on the Ives Trail until you reach the Saddle, only then semi-bushwhack, but NOT before. Follow a trail until just below the cache.

You needn't be paranoid.  The gunshots you (might) hear come from target shooting at the Wooster Mountain Shooting Range inside the gate at the parking area.

NOTE THAT ALL 25 GEOCACHES IN THE IVES TRAIL SERIES WILL BE RETIRED AS SOON AS THE HIDER CAN DO SO AFTER April 1, 2020.

Alternatives to reach the Ives Trail from PARKING WM W

1. Walk south along #7 to reach the stairs.   Safe enough for adults, but somewhat unpleasant

2. Follow the White trail that leaves from N 41 21.010 W 73 28.240, very uphill to the intersection with the Ives Trail

   at N 41 20.890 W 73 28.487

After finding Ives21, continue south to Starrs Plain Rd.  Cross #7 in the crosswalk at the traffic light, then climb the stairs.
