Llwyn Hir Trail No 1 Traditional Cache

This series of 14 caches are on a circular walk around Llwyn Hir and coed Cefn Pwll-du forests, skirting around the disused Cwm Leyshon Quarry. Just over 3.5 miles long on gravel tracks that can be muddy on times especially between No 10 & 11.

The caches are placed within a few meters of the track, we would recommend wearing boots or wellies.

Take in the views across the valley and over to Mynydd Machen between No 6 & 10. All hints are assuming you are completing the series in order.

You will need a pen and tool to extract some of the logs in the series.

Be aware of horses and cyclists using the track, there could be forestry operations taking place, please take note of any notices or diversions.

Located close to parking, can be done as a cache & dash.
