Holiday Beach is a small community located approximately two miles north of Hoodsport, Washington and situated on the western bank of Hood Canal. This also locates us just east of the Olympic National Park and the Olympic Mountains.
Hood Canal is not a canal at all, but is the nation's longest salt-water fjord teeming with salmon, jumbo shrimp, Dungeness crab and Pacific oysters. The fjord, which extends for about 70 miles into Washington State, has an average width of 1.5 miles and an average depth of 500 feet. Within the Olympic National Park, the Olympic Mountains rise from our sea-level elevation to nearly 8,000 feet and provide us with bountiful recreational possibilities.
