I stumbled upon this spot after a long walk on a restless day at home - You can't have enough caches on the Georges River can you? You can get right down to the water here. It's very tranquil and, on a clear day, the sunset is quite beautiful. You get a view Como to the south and south-east, Illawong to the west and where the river forks off southwards towards Woronora in between.
As per the additional waypoint: The cache is best accessed from Yarran Rd (there is a bit of a path) and I would recommend following that path as much as you can down to the foreshore before moving laterally westward and then coming back up to get the cache - it can get confusing otherwise and would also unnecessarily disturb the spiders and the flora.
If you're feeling adventurous, on the way out you might want to come back eastward along the foreshore, under the train bridge, and then up along the path towards the footpath (consult the waypoint). This would probably bring the terrain difficulty up another half a star though.
Happy caching and I hope you enjoy the spot!
PS: I think I forgot to hide a pencil so please BYOP just in case.
