Whalebone Cache is located at Wreck Point

Whalebone Cache is located at Wreck Point . You can access it via a hike of 4 miles (one way) along the beautiul white sandy beach of Elephant Bay. Look out for Commerson's and Peale's Dolphins as you walk. You can either walk back across the beach or via the large pond that the Beaver plane used to land on.  There is abundant birdlife on and around the pond. There are 2 whale skeletons right by the cache. The cache itself is a small plastic lunchbox.
